Serbia Fashion Week and the National Chamber of Fashion of Serbia are organizing an international platform to identify and support young designers – European Fashion Talents Design Competition. The aim of this competition is to give young designers the opportunity to achieve and develop an international career in the fashion industry. Interested candidates must be either students of fashion design or any other creative department, or young designers under 30 years of age.
The winners of the first three prizes will receive amazing awards and support in furthering their careers in fashion.
The requirements are listed below. The deadline for submissions is March 15, 2018.
WHAT IS EFTDC?
European Fashion Talent Design Competition (EFTDC) is a national platform for recognizing and supporting young designers who wish to establish and develop an international career in the fashion industry.
WHO CAN APPLY?
EFTDC is open for all students of fashion design and other creative courses, as well for young designers under 30 years of age.
CATEGORIES
Women’s clothing, men’s clothing, children’s clothing, fashion accessories and footwear.

EVALUATION CRITERIA:
Originality, contemporary relevancy, composition, cut and the final fit of the garments. Please make sure that the insides of your garments are equally well made as the outer layer.
APPLICATION DEADLINE
All entries must be received by March 15, 2018.
ELECTRONIC ENTRIES
SPECIAL TERMS FOR EFTDC SEMI-FINALISTS:
10 semi-finalists must produce one model of their choice from their submitted sketches. The model must be submitted no later than April 18, 2018 to the address of the National Fashion Chamber of Serbia. The semi-finalist can bring the model in person to Jury Day on Serbia Fashion Week, Congress Center Master of the Novi Sad Fair, Hajduk Veljkova.

• Exhibition of the sketches and one produced model

• Fashion show at the Fall edition of SFW 2018
• Photoshoot for the Fall edition of SFW 2018
• 1st place plaque
• Reimbursement for the production of the winning model in the amount of 500 euros
• Free runway at the Spring SFW 2018
