One of the region’s most beloved designers, Lepa Couture, represented the Serbian fashion industry and Serbia Fashion Week at St. Petersburg Fashion Week, on October 5-8. The Russian fashion crowd treated her stunning collection of lavish dresses with a round of delighted applause, as the designer was congratulated by fashionistas from all over the world. For Lepa, who was supported by Serbia Fashion Week, this was a Russian debut, so she created a special line just for the occasion – "Krasivaja". The collection was embellished with lush handmade details, for which the designer is well known, to accentuate feminine beauty. Lepa recounts her wonderful experiences with Russia and St. Petersburg Fashion Week:
“I am thrilled to represent my country and Serbia Fashion Week in St. Petersburg. I did not expect such a wonderful reaction to my collection because my work is not that well known in Russia, but I am glad that they loved it! The collection is called “Krasivaja”, but they renamed it Russian Fairy Tale.” Serbia Fashion Week, the only licensed fashion week in Serbia and the greatest fashion event in Southeastern Europe, will be held on November 20-26, and Serbia Fashion Awards will take place on November 27. Novi Sad will play host to over 50 designers from all over the world, along with one of the greatest names in the fashion industry.
